Overall

This thing gets time getting used to. Its handy to have around but it's not the best thing out there. The screen really does help and if you tilt it upside down you won't loose much steam.

I bought this to smoke oil and it works fantastic for that since most glass pipes don't allow you to place the flame under the oil like this one does, only con - it is a fragile piece..anyways, when I use it to vaporize nuggets I usually grind up about a gram really fine then after filling the bowl I put the top screen back on so I can flip the bowl upside down w/o fear of spilling, then I use a heat gun on low setting, it takes about 2 seconds before the vapor fills the bulb and my lungs., like I said with the screen on you are able to completely tilt the bowl upside down while pointing the heat gun up into the bowl...it works sweet because you don't waste vapor like myakaydog1414 mentions.
lighters are too hot for vaping imo.

Overall

This shake and vape works okay but its kind of hard to use at first. The glass is pretty thin and gets kinda hot, which isn't bad if you're careful but stoners will be stoners, so be careful. LadyVamp's comment about the candle is actually a pretty good idea. I agree with the other reviews, prepare for a strange taste.

Be careful about putting it down, as the bowl gets hot, as I previously said.. A friend put mine on top of plastic and it melted the plastic and got stuck all over the bottom and wouldn't come off. At that point we ended up smoking it like a regular pipe, putting the bud on top of the screen, and actually it works pretty good like that. I ended up using it like a traditional pipe until the stem broke.

I don't know, it seems like others had pretty good luck with it but i really didn't like it all that much. Too much of a hassle, especially if you're already blazin'. I much prefer a spoon, bong or basically anything else. Also, i enjoy the flavor of a nice bud and you don't get that with this.

Nice one Bill (R.I.P). This little stunner works a treat when you master the tecnique. It realy works! Best with weed but hash also works.

Its a great Vaporizer for the price, but I dont understand how your supposed to stop vapor from leaving the bowl because the top is just a screen. Some escapes but I just capped it off with a top of a film canister lid. Taste kinda funny, but youll get used to it.

The trick is to get a votive candle (in an awesome scent) and a votive candle cup, and hole this over that! cause otherwise lighters get hot and it's annoying. otherwise, i really like this thing. It does taste alittle strange, but its not gross. I kind of like it. It hits well, and i am very happy with it.

Not bad... kinda looks like a crack pipe. Most people think that you are smoking crack when they first see this pipe. But it hits pretty well if you grind up (or just crumble) about a bowl in there. I usually just set a zippo on the table and hold this over it until I see vapor. then, i shake vigorously. Then inhale and chill. it kinda tastes funny. not like normal smoke. but it's a pretty good hitter, and it's very economical. there's my 2 cents...
