Great bong, but... Review by Mike

The Mad Scientist has gotten me to the point of retardation and beyond, this bong will do everything you need it to. I personally enjoy using the Octopus pre-cooler to keep her clean, but hits are plenty fine even without. I bought the Mad Scientist when it was $75, but $85 is definitely still worth it. The only downside is that the perc gets clogged easy and, unlike the rest of the bong, is a bit of a chore to clean. But remove the perc and you gets plenty of room to stuff in crushed ice for super cold, easy to draw hits. I just ordered a 3 arm tree perc to throw in, we'll see if that does better than the perc the Mad Scientist comes with.

Overall

I ordered the Mad Scientist with the colored precooler, and the Hurricane Ashcatcher. I received them in about 2 weeks. It's perfect except for the only 2 (small) problems that I and apparently many other people had, are that the percolators get clogged easily, just clean it out after each use or buy a second one. The bong can get heavy with the ashcatcher, but you can disconnect it and set it down next to the bong. It should be fine with water in the main chambers anyway, and even if not, mines been kicked over like four times on a carpet and doesn't have a hint of damage. It's pretty durable actually. Other than that it's the best purchase you can make when looking for a cheap glass bong, I've only heard good comments, and everybody wants to smoke out of it. Ice cold water in every chamber, and two ice cubes above the percolator is one of the smoothest hits I've ever taken. Buy it.

I just got this bad boy in today, and it was like i was having Christmas in July. it took 12 days to get to utah. the piece is amazing! no flaws in the glass itself. the joints and welds are all a good thickness. and this little guy looks sick as shit with the inline ash catcher on it as well.Well worth the money to do the faster shipping.

I ordered this for my girlfriend on a whim, and it shipped to Texas in 7 days. Smoothest hit I've ever taken (smoother even than a ROOR), no matter what temperature water you put in it. More sturdy, stable and easier to clean than what other comments have said, and the glass is quite thick. This is THE BEST and LEAST EXPENSIVE water-pipe that we have ever owned.

Clean shape awsome design, warm water in the lower cold up top makes for a smooth hit. Cant wait till they get the pre-cooler back in stock. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the glass is a little thin. But it sure delivers for $75.

Perfect Bong for the Price Review by Matt

This is quite honestly the greatest bong you could possibly buy for under 100$

I must admit, I was a little scared reading reviews saying that their percolators weren't formed right, etc. I can tell you that in my personal case, this bong came out like a work of art. Just keep it clean, lube up everywhere glass touches glass with some KY or Vaseline, and put the metal rod that comes with it somewhere safe or else you'll have to mutilate paper-clips and coat-hangers to get the percolator out later.

This thing delivers some MASSIVE hits. In fact, I switched over and used a friend's G-Spot Superball and tried to take what I consider a "normal" sized hit and hacked my lungs out. This little Mad Scientist delivers phenomenally large hits and you have no idea you're even taking them.

Treat it right, and it'll treat you 10x better.

This is by far the most devastating rip I have taken from such a small piece. A tool is also supplied to remove the perk which makes the cleaning a breeze. Great buy for people looking to kiss the sky.

Well, as I have read before, this this rocks. Keeping the perc clean is a must, but buy an extra or two and just swap out a dirty one for a clean one. 100% worth it, best stone I have ever had.
