Blaze Glass - Premium Spiral Perc Beaker Base Ice Bong - Gold Fumed
This premium quality bong from Blaze Glass is a real bargain for the price, with 5mm-thick borosilicate glass construction, a stable beaker base, and a fumed glass spiral percolator for smoother, more flavorful smoke that's less harsh on your throat and lungs! Ice notches in the tube will hold a few cubes to cool down your bong hit and a fumed glass splash guard keeps water away from the mouthpiece. The slitted diffuser downstem further breaks up your smoke for even more bubbling, and serves as an 18.8mm > 14.5mm bong joint adapter, with a 14.5mm clear glass bowl and keck clip included. Gold fuming gives this bong an ethereal iridescent glow, and the Blaze Glass logo is sandblasted onto the tube.

Overall An amazing and sturdy piece. Very thick glass with good weight. You know by second you pick it up its a serious piece due to its weight and thickness. It hits like a Plasma Cannon, hard and smooth at the same time. Lots of room for ice, the spiral perc is amazing.
Not sure if the thickness of the glass insulates the cold but the ice take a while to fully melt as well as fill up the perc chamber so you dont have to change the water often.
In regards to the comment prior to mine about the carb hole.
The carb hole is in front, directly above the downstem socket/joint - not on the side.
Overall an amazing piece, fantastic quality for a good price. Heavy thick piece that is amazing to hit..(Posted on 2/12/13)

Overall This is my second piece of glass I acquired, and I have to say I'm quite impressed.
The diffuser downstem does a great job at diffusing the smoth, I was a little skeptical because of the very narrow slits, but after being able to look at the bubbles in action, it's very good for a "stock" downstem.
As some people have commented with some this style of Blaze Glass Bongs, is that the spiral percolator, although very pretty, does seem to cause drag in the main chamber. Perhaps more arms or a bigger intake hole would have helped.
The splash guard is fantastic, I mistakenly over filled the percolator chamber and it didn't splash higher than the dome at all.
The ice notches are great! ! They look think and sturdy, and the best part is that they reach pretty deep! My other glass piece has very small ice notches so you really needed to get the right size of ice cubes, and the second they melted a little they'd have a tendency to just slip into the main chamber. But these Ice notches definitely can hold quit small pieces of ice.
As for the size of the ice chamber, it's more than enough. Probably can fit 4 very large ice cubes, or 5-6 small ones. Enough to offer good cooling.
The downstem socket has a bit of a low angle, high enough from the base, but the angle can be a bit problematic when you are using precooler or percolators, which won't be 'at level' when the bong is held upright. Which is a bit of an inconvenience for ideally you want the bong to remain in an upright position to maximize the spiral percolators efficiency. Perhaps a bit of a higher angle would have been nice.
One thing that bothered me, is that apparently this bong is for left handed people? The Carb hole is strangely to the right hand side of the bong. It threw me off for all the glass pipes I've used had the Carb hole on the left. Not that hard to get used to, but still the source of a few awkward moments.
The bong is quite durable! For I almost my great surprise turn into a great horror! When I went to fill the bong in my sink, I didn't see that there was a utensil sticking out of glass in the sink. And I bonked the base with a metal knife... But... not a crack, dent, mark, nothing. Wow, I was so mad at myself. Every component looks sturby and reliable. The socket is very well sized, fits perfectly with my EHLE and my other percolator. Unlike my first glass piece where the joint socket is just a tad to wide. Great workmanship!
This bong is very, very stable! Compared to my other bong which is noted to be stable, this one is a pillar! Even with my percolator mounted, and me pushing the bong at it's highest point I can feel the resistance, this bong has a very strong center of gravity. The larger beaker base is great for clumsy people!
The coloring is strangely subtle, in certain lighting you will barely notice but in other angles/lighting it can be quite striking. I sincerely wish that the blue version of this bong would have been closer in price range, I fail to see why it warrants an extra 50$ to the price tag.
As the summary says, Sturdy, Stable & Smooth! This is a great piece with a few drawbacks, but overall a good buy! 4 Stars!(Posted on 12/9/11)
