This thing is awesome Ive had one for years and trust me, it won't let you down. You will have to clean it often but other than that its a blast!!

This is a great dug out system. one of the best batties i've ever used, and the dug out itself is great for storing your stuff. one thing no one else mentioned is that it almost doesnt smell at all, even when theres tons of stuff in it! big pro in my book. the spring is too strong, so i took mine out and its just as easy without it. this cant be beat for the money. expect frequent cleanings though

I wanted to replace my 25+ year old dug out. This one is identical. Exactly like the one I've had and carried for all those years. I expect to carry this one just as long.

People are right- when I got mine, the spring was very strong and the bat protrudes a bit and pushed the sliding top up a bit. I replaced mine with a weaker spring like somebody here suggested. I work in boston, MA and I have been enjoying this pipe every day at my leisure. GET THIS DUGOUT. It looks cool and its super convenient. Hats off to grasscity for another great one.

Very nice. brass bat. But the spring is strong as hell. Replaced it with a weaker one, and its a wonderrr. Gave it to my bestfriend (:

I like the pipe but the lid to the dugout doesn't fit well. The bat is spring loaded and the lid sticks up a bit. No tobacco has fallen out yet but I wish it was a tighter fit.

This is a sweet little piece! Fits in the palm of my hand and the bat is all metal. I'm very happy with this because I once had a bat that looked like a cigarette, but after awhile the paint started chipping off in my stuff.

Just got it a couple of hours ago, on my birthday go figure. but I'm crazy about this dugout i just wish they would sell aluminum dugouts or other type of material instead of wood. im going on a road trip soon just hope it passes through U.S. Customs. ONE LOVE!!! Jah Bless!!!
