My wife and I just got this the other day and I say that it does grind really well. There was only one problem and that is it broke. I was putting it back together to do some grinding and I didn't line it up very well but without too much pressure the side broke. It still works but I would think it being made out of stone it would have been stronger and held up much longer.

I just got this the other day and I gotta say this thing rips my herb apart on a dime. But seriously i would order this thing in a flash cuz I use this thing every where I go. Get it.
