Compared to my old $250 beaker based, tree perc 3 footer, the spiral is far more efficient. The bowl his quite huge and sparking the whole thing is ambitious, to say the least.

I highly recommend this, though my only complaint is the stem/mouth piece's resoundingly low durability.
