Molino Glass Pre-coolers use vibrant colors and are hand made by the experts at the Molino glass studios.
Hand blown from heavy duty Pyrex they are made to the 14.5 standard joint size, this enables them to not only fit the range of Molino Bongs but also other 14.5 pieces (Roor bongs and others).
They are used as a pre cooling section where your bowl would be placed, you part fill them with clean warm water and this will catch ash that may fall through, whilst also offering an extra water filter for your smoke.
The Inside out design is made by having layers of colored glass stacked on top of each other in a tube, then the glass is heated and twisted clockwise and cooled, then re heated and twisted clockwise. This is then repeated several times to give the glass a vibrant swirled effect, this is then molded on the inside of the Pyrex tube and it's then the Pre-cooler mold is finished.

Overall I bought this with the Mad scientist V2. I had it for three weeks and then I dropped it today. It slide out the bong so you have to be careful with your angling. What I liked about it was you could taste your herb. It gave it good flavor. Also you can pack a pretty phat bowl. It looks good and badass on the bong. Now I'm using the stock bowl. The hits are smoother with the pre-cooler. The only thing reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it would clog and you would waste herb by not getting that good hit, also it's hard to put water in without getting the inside of the bowl wet. I usually filled it 1/3 or 2/3 of the way with warm water. Not a bad price I would recommend it. Or you could save up and get one of these bad boys like me

Overall i love this. it catches all ash n resin.just shake after a few bowls over a sink n was out the brown water(which u never have to see cuz of the hurricane design.refill w/fresh water n ur good.easier than cleanin the whole bong.does the job as an extra filter n it looks tite on the v2.should b sold out(Posted on 1/20/11)

Overall just got this for my molino mad scientist since it looks pretty sick from the photo. i think every one of these is going to be a little unique, mine has a little more green to one side while the opposing side is a light blue than the pic suggests but the middle separating colors are too cool! the bowl could be a tad bigger, but then again, they could always be! it also stands on its own :D this precooler also feels very nice in the hands, good solid weight to it.(Posted on 8/18/08)
