This is really a superb bong. The glass is very thick, 9mm according to the description. It feels really solid. When you compare it to the 7mm beaker bong that Roor offers on here for $675.00, Blaze wins without question. I don' t need to pay an extra $500 for a logo when the quality of this one is probably superior. My only complaint is that the bowl on this thing is huge. It's definitely a party bowl. Either order some screens to plug up the bottom so your contents don't get sucked through, or order a smaller bowl for it. Just a minor irritant on this otherwise stellar bong. Oh, and there is a carb. Not sure why they bothered with that, and in my case the rubber stopper they provided keeps falling out, but again I wouldn't reduce my 5 star rating because of that. A trip to the local hardware store for a .50cent stopper will be fine. It smokes like a dream, super smooth. I bought an extra ashcatcher to avoid having to clean it so often, but compared to my other 4 bongs I can tell this is going to be the easiest of them all to clean. I'm really happy with this purchase. I would encourage anyone to buy that is looking for a quality smooth hitting piece, for $175.00. I got my 20% off too which was awesome. You can't beat the price. Seriously....BUY IT!!!

I got this three weeks after shipment(I am Australian so that's a good postage time fyi). The smallest amount of pressure of the carbstopper will make your bong airtight.

I believe it all to be around 9mm thick I was amazed by the joint.

My only complaint is the bottom of the beaker is not 9mm thick..

The 9mm is super solid. the glass is nice and thick and clear. The piece as a whole is nicely balanced with no obvious flaws in the glass. The ice pinches are nice and solid as well. I have no problem firing big pieces of ice down there.

One of my favorite things about this piece is that is very easy to clean. The hitter piece is solid, so debris doesn't fly up inside like many other hitter pieces. And it has a large hole that a pipe cleaner goes right through. The downstem is also very easy to clean because its so solid. Actually it's one of the easiest downstems to clean that I own.

This is one of the coolest glass pieces I've got in a while, and for $175, it's well worth the money, especially considering it's a 9mm. Many independent glass blowers will charge you $200 for a similar piece, but you won't get the same level as quality as with this piece.
