Manufactured by Instrument Research Corporation late 60's, early 70's. I still have mine it is 40 years old ( yeah I'm an old hippy). The original ones were heavy duty glass & bowl. The only weak part is the little bump it sits on. That part is very thin. I poked a hole in one end of it while cleaning with an angled bottle brush. Took it to the local glassblower (Shocker's) and got it repaired. By the way, here is a good tip to keep your smoke tasting fresh: an ammonia cleaning solution diluted about 40-50% with water will clean it all by itself. Just set in a container and cover with solution and leave it sit. Afer a few hours it should rinse nearly clean using medium hot water. Use a bottle brush on any stubborn areas. If you're preparing for a pary let it sit overnight and shouldn't need a bottle brush. Push a rolled paper towel thru it and it's ready to go. Mine looks like new after it's rinsed.Happy trails everybody.

Great piece, although I was surprised at how many people I would have to teach how to use it. More than one person was like wtf, how do I do this, lmao. I had mine for about two years until i foolishly broke it while I was cleaning it. I am reordering it now. Buy & enjoy people:)

ita a good peice hits good but its very thin it would be better if it was double blown... it you have two people hit it at once it give a big hit.... try it out !

This pipe hits like a champ, but be careful with the pipe because it is some really thin glass. Mine broke because someone was trying to empty the ash by taping it on metal-__- the bowl cracked right in half. I still 5 starred this because it hits really really good and the price is amazing.

This steamroller is way better than anticipated. Although it didn't have the leaf on it that is shown in the picture, but oh well its not like its going to be clear for to long. I have been looking for a steamroller since I smoked out of one of my friends a few months back. His was pretty big and it gave me perfect hits every time and thats what this one does I have had the best and biggest hits when using this thing. It came with some screens and a good thing to cuz the bowl on this beast is huge way bigger than some of the other steamrollers and pipes here at Grasscity. Anyway this steamroller is the best one I have now and it is a great price I will definitely buy another if I have to. I am already getting the same one for my uncle because he loves this thing more than I do, I had to fight with him just to give it back to me after he took a hit. Great steamroller I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

The size said 18.5 centimeters, so before I bought this I pulled out my ruler to see how big it actually was, because I was looking for something small, compact, and effective. This suited my needs perfectly. Yesterday when I received it I realized that I had anticipated it would be much smaller than it actually was.

Don't be fooled by the price or size though, this thing will fuck you up! I love steamrollers because you can really control how much smoke you want going in. So weather you just want a buzz, nice hit, or to get stoned off your ass, this is a must buy! I would give this 5 stars, but there are two things I don't like:

1. The bowel downpipe is a bit too wide. Unless if you're working with shake, everything will generally be fine. But as you start working towards the end of the bowl (the bottom), you have to be careful how fast you inhale, because 1 big inhale when weed is bound to fall through will give you scoobies like you've never had before; especially through this little monster.

2. Small pieces of ash fall through the bowl toward the end, which gives a possibility of you inhaling that shit. Although the only thing you have to do is cover up the bowl with your thumb, then just blow through it and the ash will fall out; but this becomes inconvenient during a smoking session with friends when you're inside a house, if you can understand what I mean.

However, might I add, the bowl is huge!!!!! Last night I packed the biggest one I had done all day, and I swear it went around 10-15 times. It's a great little guy to chief by yourself, or with friends.

All in all, a solid 4/5; must buy!!!!

I've ordered this Shabong twice cause it absolutely rippps. Its a little big to carry around unless u have large pockets but Its def a good buy

I was so excited when it finally arrived in the mail! My friend is the one with the goods, so naturally I had to wait about a week to do it, but it was well worth the wait! This thing hits very hard, especially if you get first hit or use keef.

I bought this piece over the other shabongs on this website because it was fatter and longer than the others. The glass also looked a little thicker to make it more durable. Although this piece is not colorful or oddly shaped, it rips really hard! The bowl is also the perfect size for a few people to hit off of. This is a great deal and I would reccomend this piece to any of the veteran smokers. P.S. You will need to buy some pipe cleaning solution to keep the piece its nice clear color. Shipping also only took about a week, PEACE!!!
