As you inhale the smoke travels through the reinforced fixed downstem where it first reaches the HoneyComb percolator. The HoneyComb percolator is equipped with numerous amounts of small holes. These holes separate the smoke that passes into smaller particles, increasing the surface area, allowing the smoke to cool much more rapidly. As the smoke moves upwards, it encounters the second percolator, the 10-arm tree percolator, for another round of filtration.

After the tree percolator the smoke move up and passes the slitted splash guard, which keeps water from reaching the thick, comfortable mouthpiece. A few ice notches are placed in the tube, which allow you to place a good amount ice cubes in the tube for a hit so fresh it might give you a brain freeze.
