The Battery

The thread vape battery is the main part that powers the device during the vaping process. These batteries are rechargeable and are designed to heat up the atomizer which in turn heats up the filled cartridge.

The Atomizer

The atomizer is a heating element that slowly heats the attached cartridge, turning the oily content into vapor. They are usually made up of three parts: The heating coil, a mesh bridge and a wick to absorb the CBD, THC, or nicotine oil.

The Cartridge

The cartridge is an interchangeable 510 threaded oil container that screws onto the battery and has a mouthpiece attached to the end of it. These cartridges can be re-fillable or come pre-filled with oil.

The Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece, is attached at the end of the cartridge and it enables you to inhale vapour. They can be made from a range of materials including plastic, glass and metal.

Temp Control

Many vapers prefer a variable voltage battery with adjustable voltage settings as they offer a more tailored and controllable vaping experience.

These threaded wax pens and oil carts work in a different way to other vaporizers and measure temperature output in volts, and mAh rather than in celsius or degrees.

Variable voltage settings enable you to select your preferred voltage range for maximum flavors and effects. This is important as the compounds in cannabis (cannabinoids and terpenes) activate at different temperatures.

Tips & Tricks

When setting up and using a 510-thread battery you will need to fully charged it first. After it’s charged, simply screw on a compatible 510 threaded oil cartridge, turn on and activate the device and you're ready to go.

Colder climates, can cause the oil inside the cartridge to thicken and effect vapor production. Many models now have a preheat function that can solve this issue.

510-threaded batteries require very little cleaning and maintenance. Unwanted residue can be cleaned with a cleaning tool or cloth and cleaning alcohol.
