I loved this bong till I broke it it was one of the best pieces I have ever had I will buy another one very smooth easy to clean solid and durable .....I would recommend it to any one ....420 all day baby

Easy to clean, smooth rips, and great price. I've had mine for about 5 months. Shipping took 3 weeks. Go ahead and be prepared for that little blue ring on the perculator to break. This makes it very difficult to insert into the joint. That would be the only downfall. I like taking the perc out, then filling the top with ice and the bottom with water. It rips insane!! I am definitely recommend the Magic carbon filter (18. 5 joint and 10.5 cm length). It filters hundreds of toxins from the smoke, and it makes a SIGNIFICANTLY smoother hit.

Bottom line,
Pros: -perfect size, not too big, not too small
-easy to clean
- removable perculator
- diffused downstem
- the bowl is good for fatties, or smaller bowls for conserving.
Cons: -the ring on the perculator is prone to break
-if you don't use water, ice, or a carbon filter, the smoke is extremely unpleasant.

First off, this bong is sex. Hot, sweaty sex with no condom. I got The Mad Scientist last year and let me tell you, it's a great piece. I'll start with the one and only problem with this bong.

Out of the box, the piece is a bowl which joints to a diffuser into the bottom basin, with a percolator in the top chamber. The angle of the diffuser is a little shallow so you have to fill the bottom up at least 3/4 with water for the smoke to actually get pulled into the water. Because you have to fill it up so far, water sometimes gets pulled up into the perc when taking bigger rips. When the water gets pulled up into the perc, it sometimes locks up and, after a while, gets dirty. Just pull slowly when hitting it and regularly clean the perc and you won't have any problems. I pull out and rinse the perc after every time I smoke now, and it never gets dirty. But you have to stay on top of cleaning it or it will clog and then you gotta buy a new perc or let it sit in alcohol, or this stuff called 420, for a while. Also, regularly pull out the perc. Just pull it out and put it back in - if you don't for a while (like a month) the perc will get stuck in the joint and it's a bitch to get out.

Now for the good news, this bong makes the hugest, smoothest hits ever. It looks and smokes better than any bong I've seen and always impresses anyone who smokes it. And, even though it doesn't have an ice catcher, you can put ice in the neck no problem, just drop the ice in slow so you don't hurt the perc.

I bought the teardrop pre-cooler (also by molino) and it's beast. The pre-cooler keeps any debris out of the basin and also has a diffuser.
*I recently ordered the High Heel pre-cooler because it's able to have other bowls (14.5mm) attached, so buy that one!

Also, I found putting warm water in the pre-cooler and in the basin, and cold water and ice in the neck, it makes a really milky and smoother hit - just sayin.

The 5mm pyrex is a nice touch and feels very sturdy. The base is shaped well and I never worry about it breaking. Also, I've put the whole piece in the dishwasher and run it and it came out fine, made cleaning easy.

Buy this. You'll be happy.

Definitely fragile, but larger then the pic makes it look.
Great quality glass so no problems when cleaning home style.
Additions aren't necessary either, less drag the better.
If you have the $ get an extra Perc or 3.. Cuz the one it comes with is small. /or at least mine was/

Worth every dime. takes awhile to ship to Texas, its easy to clean. Just run the percolator upside down under some steamy water n all that tar n shit will melt n cum pourin out the holes.dont suck too hard or ull suck the percolator out n drain water to the lower chamber. n despite what anyone says the hook provided is easy to use if u have any hand eye coordination at all. also works as a pic for ur bowl.its a good deal, buy it!

For the size of this pipe you get a big hit. Its perfect for someone who needs a waterpipe with some punch but doesn't have the room for a huge glass piece. It hits smooth and with a ash catcher that i bought with it none of my other pieces can hold to it. The only problem I have is the peculator gets dirty quick and is hard to clean. Other then that its a solid system just don't break that perc or you will not be a happy camper.

I waited about 6 months to write my review cause I wanted to compare how I felt about it back when I got it and now, the first few times I smoked out of it I thought it was smooth and potent, way better than what I had before, no matter what type of stuff you smoke (I've been forced to smoke just keifh sometimes and it still is smooth), well, now after 6 months, I feel the same way, I thought my body would get used to it and that I wouldn't love it very much after a while, but I was wrong, I blaze often with a couple of my friends, and they just cant wait to come by and use it.
Not forgetting the fact that everybody thinks it is the coolest piece they've smoked out of.

It gets dirty kind of fast, but nothing that hot water, then alcohol and salt wouldn't take care of, yeah, always clean the percolator up with hot water cause it softens the remains inside of it and makes it easy for the alcohol to scrub what is left. This is still nothing compared to the satisfaction it will give you.

The Best thing about this piece is how it smokes. The worst is cleaning it. A little salt and rubbing alcohol makes it fairly simple. However the removable perc is a trick to clean. Use a zip-lock back with the salt and alcohol and its not bad. Great bong for the first timer to the veteran iron lung. Happy smoking
