The History of 420

420 Cannabis Culture has taken the world by storm, a slang term for marijuana or hashish consumption, usually at the time of 16.20. The plan was originally known as “4.20 Louis” but after several attempts to find the crop, this was then shortened to just “4.20”

Over time, the term 4.20 established itself among high school students as a code word for smoking cannabis.
