An E-Nail (electronic nail) is an electric metal coil that attaches to your dab rig’s nail, providing controlled heat so you can vaporize cannabis concentrates, waxes, or oils. This modern device can be powered by an internal battery, or via a power cable.

An e-nail can provide a consistent amount of heat so you can dab without a lighter or torch, transforming your dab rig into an all-in-one device.

Many battery-powered, portable e-nails can connect directly to your dab rig’s joint, quickly heating up and maintaining a constant temperature at the press of a button. Once your e-nail has reached your optimal temperature, you can then load your concentrate, wax, or oil, and dab away within seconds.

E-nails that use a power cable that plugs into a wall sock are fitted with a PID temperature power controller and a heating coil that fits around your dab rig’s nail or banger. Using the simple PID control box, you can set your preferred temperature and adjust it when necessary.

Portable, battery-powered e-nails are known as e-rigs and usually have their own built-in dab nail, and many of these devices can be easily attached to a dab rig or bubbler. The temperature is controlled using buttons and features pre-set temperatures, interchangeable atomizers, and an LED display. Perfect for when you are dabbing on the go.

E-nail units that are controlled using a PID system are plugged into a wall socket and use a metal heating coil that is attached to the dab rig’s banger or nail. Once activated using the controller (a dial or button control), the coil will heat up to your desired temperature so the concentrate can then be loaded. You can then control your intake using a carb cap.

Most devices remember your previous settings from your last session, meaning they are ready to go each time you want to dab.

For safety, you should be aware that e-nail coils and e-rigs can retain their heat after use and we would advise waiting 15 minutes before touching the equipment. Do not leave your e-nail on any flammable surfaces after use.

E-nails are compatible with the majority of standard dab rigs and can also be attached to bongs and bubblers with the help of specialized accessories if you prefer to dab with water filtration. Using an e-nail with a compatible dab rig provides a much more stable dabbing experience as opposed to using a lighter or butane/ propane torch.
