• Shatter - Shatter gets its name from its glass-like consistency. Shatter is a very pure form of a concentrated herb and, most of the time has a transparent or amber color. This concentrate is something you need if you're looking for a hard-hitting high.
• Wax - Wax has, like its name suggests, a waxy texture, just like candle wax. It's best to use wax with a dabbing tool because it can be very sticky. Wax most of the time has a yellowish color and can be smoked with a dab rig or a vaporizer.
• Rosin - Rosin is made with heat and pressure being applied to components of herbs to remove the resin. What remains is a golden and oil-like concentrate. Rosin is a favorite amongst terpene lovers because of the aroma and terpenes staying in the rosin.
• Oil - Oil is also a popular concentrate. Most of the time, oils are produced with CO2. Oil is the most common concentrate to find in varieties, and it's also widely used to make edibles.
• Hash - Hash is made by compressing kief, which comes from the herb. Hash is a very powerful concentrate and is also often used in roll-ups.

How much water you put in your dab rig is similar to how you use a bong. It's crucial that when you hit a bong, the water should not be coming up into the mouthpiece. If this does happen, it's best to pour some water out. The water in your rig should be high enough to bubble but not so high that the water can splash you.

The water in your dab rig provides filtration and will make the vape feel better on your lungs. However, the water can also dilute the flavor of your smoke. The more water you put in the dab rig, the more water your vape has to go through. Next to that, your concentrate can also get lost in the water while dabbing.
