Terp Slurpers

A terp slurper is a banger-style quartz nail with a vertical body and an inner slurp tube. Vapor is pulled through slits in that tube, which circulates the air and keeps low-temperature dabs smooth and flavorful. Most sets add a cap and terp pearls so the vapor keeps moving as you inhale.

A standard banger has a flat bucket, while a terp slurper has a rising inner tube with slits that circulate vapor. That design usually gives cooler, more flavorful hits and holds heat evenly. The trade-off is a little more setup, because you also need a matching cap and pearls to get the full effect.

Match the slurper's male joint to your rig, most often 14mm, and check the angle as well, since 90 degree and 45 degree styles sit differently. The listing names the joint size and gender, so compare both to your rig before you order. Using the wrong size means vapor leaks and a loose fit.

To use a terp slurper you need a rig with a matching joint, a dab torch, a carb cap and usually a few terp pearls. Many slurper sets bundle the cap and pearls, so you can start right away. Heat the quartz, let it cool briefly, add your concentrate, then cap and inhale slowly.

Most terp slurper sets include the slurper itself, a matching cap and a few terp pearls, though some ship the slurper alone. The product title and description spell out what is in the box. Sets are the easiest way to start, because the cap and pearls are sized to fit the slurper you receive.

A terp slurper is a little fiddlier to clean than a flat banger because of the inner tube. Let it cool completely, swab the inside with isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab, then rinse with warm water and dry it. Our cleaning supplies cover the swabs and solution, so keeping it clear takes only a few minutes.

Grasscity's own line and Pulsar all appear in this collection. Before you choose, check each listing for the quartz thickness, the joint size and what ships in the set. Thicker quartz holds heat longer, and a bundled cap and pearls save you from matching separate pieces. The product title usually states all three details clearly.
